Four Tottenham players ruled out of Aston Villa game on Sunday, but superb player is back

This Sunday afternoon’s match between Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur will have a big influence on the fight for the top four.

Though they are just five points behind Villa, Ange Postecoglou’s team still has a game left against Unai Emery’s team.

In the competition for the top four, a victory for any team may mean the difference of three points.

The Australian reported that “superb” wing-back Pedro Porro has resumed full training with Spurs on their social media page.

Certainly, in a way. Everyone from last week made it through and is available. Pedro is also available and jumps right in. The others are still receiving treatment.

Ryan Sessegnon is now unavailable for the Spurs elsewhere. Following an under-21 match, the 23-year-old had surgery on his right hamstring. Due to a foot injury, Fraser Forster will also be absent for many months.

A knee ailment has also sidelined Manor Solomon. Although there was optimism that Richarlison would be ready, the 26-year-old doesn’t seem to be available based on Postecoglou’s most recent report.

Is Aston Villa’s victory in this crucial?

Many would argue that Emery’s team has to win this game. But this seems more like a fixture that you really can’t lose.

Villa is in control and doesn’t need to win as badly as Spurs do. In light of this, one should anticipate a fierce performance from the guests.

This is turning out to be an exciting clash for a neutral.
