Speaking on the possibility of selling Genoa’s No.11 this summer, Zangrillo told Radio Sportiva: “He is a young, serious kid who wants to pursue goals that we cannot guarantee at the time. It is pointless to refute it.
“He has a national and international market; it is appropriate for both parties to make assessments; what matters is the end result.”
“I don’t deal with these issues; let the players dream and leave it up to us to perform properly on the market. We’ve learned to adore our guys. We can make solid deals and believe that in a few years Albert would say, “If it weren’t for Genoa, I wouldn’t be here.”
We believe that adding Gudmundsson will allow Son to contribute more in attack.
The South Korean international prospered while paired with Harry Kane, and the two even combined to score the most goals in Premier League history before the England international departed for Bayern Munich (47).
As a result, with Gudmundsson scoring the majority of his goals this season as a backup striker, the 26-year-old’s offensive threat may assist Son find space.
