Tottenham Release Statement Now Told Player He Can Find A New Club In January
According to Football Insider, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been told by Tottenham Hotspur that he is free to go in January provided they are able to find a replacement.
The Athletic said on Wednesday that Hojbjerg and Eric Dier are available for bids in January, and the Dane would prefer to go with Juventus should the Serie A team make a strong push for him. Spurs are reportedly prepared to consider offers for both players.
A day later, Gianluca Di Marzio said that Juve’s efforts to sign the Tottenham player had been strengthened since Spurs had reversed course and were willing to agree to an initial loan agreement for the midfield player—as long as there was a buy-out clause.

According to the source, the Lilywhites would let the 28-year-old to go if a deal could be reached and are now searching for a central midfielder.
According to the tabloid, they have learned “through a reliable source” that Tottenham has set a £20 million asking price for the Denmark international and is amenable to a loan agreement that includes a buyout clause or a permanent transfer.

I do wonder whether Conor Gallagher’s availability has contributed to Tottenham’s shift of attitude toward Hojbjerg during the last week or so. Postecogolou is obviously fond of the Chelsea player, and the team won’t want to pass up the chance to sign the 23-year-old.
