Tottenham attacker will not extend his contract as he may have played his last game for Spurs

Ivan Perisic, an attacker for Tottenham, is set to depart the team and return to Hajduk Split, where he was raised.

According to Tottenham News, the winger is expected to return to Croatia in the summer, according to a trustworthy source with ties to the player.

In September, the winger sustained an ACL injury while working out.

Perisic’s injury, which required surgery on his right knee, has kept him out of play for the better part of the current season. It is anticipated that he will be out for five to six months.

Previous to the terrible incident, he was playing at a high level under Ange Postecoglou.

Indeed, he was a major factor in their incredible victory against Sheffield United.

However, it could be his last contribution to the team.

June of next year marks the expiration of Perisic’s contract with the Lilywhites, and a report implies that he may choose not to renew it.

The winger will instead be going back to his home country, where he will probably join up with Hajduk Split, the team that helped launch his brilliant career.

Powerhouse teams like Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, and Borussia Dortmund have all been a part of his path. He has also won several league titles and the Champions League.
