‘I hate to say this’: Sutton 100% right about big Daniel Levy decision at Tottenham

Chris Sutton has admitted that Daniel Levy’s decision to hire Ange Postecoglou away from Celtic in the summer of 2023 was spot-on.

Chris Sutton, a former striker for Chelsea and Celtic, has said that he predicted correctly about Postecoglou’s influence at Tottenham when Spurs chairman Daniel Levy brought him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Sutton said on BBC Sport that he hates to say “I told you so,” but he did tell everyone how enjoyable Spurs games would be to watch under Ange Postecoglou, and he predicted a 3-0 victory for Tottenham against Sheffield United this coming Saturday in the Premier League.

“Spurs have been playing some of the best football in the league this season, in addition to getting good results, which is why I enjoy watching them so much.”

We think that Ange Postecoglou would be a fantastic coach for Tottenham Hotspur.

  1. Cannot believe Chris Sutton???? only comess out with this perspective after the fans changed their opinions on Ange and if he was so well knowlegded in re;ation to Ange he would have come out a lot sooner. Just saying – amateurish reporting
