I am hearing: Romano says someone in Tottenham absolutely loves £70M forward with incredible stats
Now, Fabrizio Romano has begun to reveal some of Tottenham Hotspur’s probable summer transfer intentions.
Although he is still early in the process of creating the team, Ange Postecoglou has made great strides.
Perhaps Timo Werner demonstrated on Saturday that, should the Spurs decide to sign him permanently, he might represent a great investment at a low cost.
A good number of significant choices will also need to be made over the off-season, particularly because Tottenham’s roster seems to be more filled with players making their injury returns.
Even though the club will almost definitely have European football to consider next season as well, maybe it will be similar to a one in, one out approach.
Having said that, Fabrizio Romano has started outlining Tottenham’s interest in a significant summer transfer.
During his appearance on “The Here We Go Podcast,” Romano revealed that Pedro Neto of the Wolverhampton Wanderers is now a target for the Spurs.
According to the writer, Neto is well-liked by the Hotspur Way crew but is anticipated to depart after this season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham is still keen to sign Pedro Neto this summer.
Romano claimed to have heard that someone at Tottenham is now a “big fan” of Neto’s skill set
He clarified, saying, “Wolves have not disclosed Pedro Neto’s contract amount, but sources have indicated that he is anticipated to join a major club in the summer.
“He’s been on a lot of teams’ lists lately. Arsenal really liked him a few years ago, and then Liverpool and other teams began to follow him.”
“I’ll add Tottenham because I’ve heard that there is a member of the team who really admires Pedro Neto’s abilities.
“There’s a lot of interest, so we’ll have to wait and see, but the Portuguese winger will undoubtedly be among the summer’s biggest names.”
Of course, Romano’s remarks about his summer interest shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering how well Neto played in front of the Tottenham staff not so long ago.
The £70 million winger has made an incredible comeback from some bad injuries to shine in the Premier League this season.
And if Spurs pursue a deal, it seems they may still have to contend with some formidable opposition.
