King speculates Romero summer exit on the cards as Tottenham transfer news emerges

Bryan King, who used to work for Tottenham, thinks that the fact that Spurs are interested in Tosin Adarabioyo means Cristian Romero might be leaving this summer.

According to The Evening Standard (March 21), Spurs are one of several teams that want Fulham back Adarabioyo.

It’s also being thought about by AC Milan and Liverpool to sign the 26-year-old, whose deal at Craven Cottage ends in June.

Adarabioyo has been playing great lately, and Fulham are about to offer him a huge new deal to keep him at the club. There is a lot of talk about where he will go next.

Because Spurs are interested, King thinks that Romero might leave North London if they make a move for Adarabioyo.

King told Tottenham News exclusively, “Adarabioyo’s contract ends in June, so if Spurs are really interested, they should already be talking terms with him. Fulham will have to match those terms, which could work in the player’s favour.”

“I thought Fulham would have a hard time accepting any offer from Tottenham, but how badly do Spurs need him?”

“Then they’d have four centre backs, but only two can play.” What would they promise Adarabioyo? Does their interest in him mean they might sell Romero?

If that’s the case, the World Cup winner might not be able to say no to a move to a big club in Europe. Spurs may already be making plans for life without him just in case.
