Leeds United and Tottenham Team News as 11 players could miss pivotal Elland Road clash

Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur are set to clash in a crucial Premier League encounter at Elland Road, with as many as 11 players potentially missing the fixture.

Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi remains cautiously optimistic that his side did not suffer further setbacks during their 2-1 victory over Aston Villa. The win provided a major boost to Tottenham’s survival hopes, but concerns lingered after Rodrigo Bentancur was forced off and Micky van de Ven appeared to struggle late on. De Zerbi later confirmed Bentancur was simply fatigued, while Van de Ven avoided serious injury.

Despite that relief, Tottenham’s injury list remains extensive ahead of their trip to Elland Road. Cristian Romero is ruled out for the season with a knee injury, while Xavi Simons and Mohammed Kudus are also sidelined.

Further absentees include Wilson Odobert (ACL injury), Ben Davies (ankle fracture), and Dejan Kulusevski, who has yet to feature this season. Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is recovering from a hernia, while James Maddison has returned to the bench but may not be fit to start. Dominic Solanke is also a doubt due to a hamstring problem.

Leeds, meanwhile, have their own concerns, with Ilia Gruev out for the season and Gabriel Gudmundsson unlikely to feature.

With both sides dealing with key absences, the upcoming clash could play a decisive role in shaping the final stages of their Premier League campaigns.
