Kinsky starts again! Tottenham predicted lineup to play Aston Villa as De Zerbi looks to build on Wolves win

Tottenham Hotspur continue their fight for Premier League survival this Sunday as they travel to Villa Park to face Aston Villa.

Spurs finally secured their first league win of 2026 last weekend, edging Wolverhampton Wanderers thanks to a late goal from João Palhinha. However, with West Ham also picking up three points, Roberto De Zerbi’s side remain two points from safety with just four games left.

Every match is now critical, and there is no room for mistakes.

This will be Tottenham’s third meeting with Aston Villa this season, with Unai Emery’s side winning both previous encounters, including an FA Cup clash.

Predicted Lineup

Goalkeeper

Antonín Kinský
The young goalkeeper impressed against Wolves, making a crucial stoppage-time save to secure the win. Even if Guglielmo Vicario returns to fitness, Kinský is expected to keep his place.

Defence

Pedro Porro – Kevin Danso – Micky van de Ven – Djed Spence

Tottenham’s defence delivered a solid performance last time out, keeping a rare clean sheet. Danso and Van de Ven handled both pace and physicality effectively.

Porro is set to continue at right-back, while Spence may retain his spot on the left, even if Destiny Udogie is available.

Midfield

Rodrigo Bentancur – Yves Bissouma – Conor Gallagher

Bentancur and Bissouma have formed a reliable partnership in recent matches, and De Zerbi is unlikely to break that rhythm.

Gallagher is expected to play in a more advanced role, with added responsibility to create chances following Xavi Simons’ season-ending ACL injury.

João Palhinha, the match-winner against Wolves, could again make an impact from the bench, while Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall may also feature later in the game.

Attack

Mathys Tel – Richarlison – Randal Kolo Muani

With Dominic Solanke likely out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury, and Simons already sidelined, Tottenham’s attack will need reshaping.

Richarlison is expected to lead the line, supported by Mathys Tel on the left. Despite recent concerns, Randal Kolo Muani is fit and should start on the right wing.

Injuries have forced De Zerbi into difficult decisions, but they also present opportunities for others to step up.

With survival on the line and a tough opponent in Aston Villa, Tottenham must deliver a disciplined and clinical performance to keep their hopes alive.
