Insane – Ben Davies says incredible Tottenham player works extremely hard in training

Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has expressed admiration for one of his teammates who demonstrates exceptional dedication in training.

Having joined Spurs from Swansea City in 2014, the 30-year-old has amassed over 325 appearances for the North London club, marking his 10th season with the team.

Over the years, he has had the opportunity to play alongside esteemed players, including Gareth Bale, Harry Kane, and Son Heung-Min, both at club and country levels.

In a conversation with The Gab and Jul’s Show for ESPN, Davies reflected on the unique qualities of Bale, Kane, and Son.

While Bale and Kane possess innate attacking talents, Davies emphasized Son’s relentless work ethic, highlighting his remarkable journey to becoming one of the Premier League’s top attacking midfielders since joining Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.

Praising Son’s unwavering commitment to his craft, Davies remarked, “Sonny is one of my best friends, and we have played together for ages.

He’s worked incredibly hard… from day one, the technical aspect, working with his dad as a kid, when he arrived at Spurs it was left foot, right foot, gym work, his whole life is dedicated to football.”

Acknowledging Son’s consistent dedication, Davies commended his teammate’s resilience and unwavering determination to excel on the field.

Despite the immense pressure to perform consistently, Son continues to thrive as a key player for Tottenham, assuming additional responsibilities as the team’s captain while maintaining his status as one of the hardest workers in training.

Reflecting on his own journey under manager Ange Postecoglou, Davies revealed initial apprehensions about his role in the team’s plans.

However, following preseason preparations, it became evident that he would play a pivotal role under Postecoglou’s leadership. This season, Davies has showcased his versatility, making 16 Premier League appearances primarily as a center-back.

While Davies recently experienced disappointment with Wales’ failure to qualify for the 2024 Euro Championships, Son has enjoyed a stellar campaign with Tottenham.

Scoring 14 goals and providing eight assists in 25 Premier League appearances, Son has been instrumental in Spurs’ quest for Champions League qualification, with both players expected to play significant roles for the remainder of the season.
