Gabriel Agbonlahor sums up Radu Dragusin display for Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham in few words
In the London derby, Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur lost to Fulham, and Radu Dragusin was one of the Spurs players that struggled.
In the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Aston Villa 4-0 at Villa Park last weekend, and they were predicted to win all three games against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
But Fulham defeated Tottenham 3-0 in the Premier League. Spurs’ performance in the London derby was terrible.
Tottenham’s Radu Dragusin opened the game. The 22-year-old Romanian international was used in the Spurs defense’s core alongside Cristian Romero.
Dragusin was underwhelming in his first Premier League start for Spurs. The defender looked good with the ball and maintained his composure even after making blunders, but he was at fault for all three goals.
Reacting to Radu Dragusin’s performance during Tottenham Hotspur vs. Fulham, Gabriel Agbonlahor
TalkSPORT analyst Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former striker for Aston Villa, called Dragusin’s performance “poor.”
On March 16, 2024, at 7:37 p.m., Agbonlahor stated on talkSPORT: “I felt Dragusin looked bad, but he hasn’t had games, has he? You therefore cannot extract him. Without a doubt, you missed Van de Ven.
My Opinion: Let’s give Radu Dragusin some grace
After his performance against Fulham, Radu Dragusin should not be written off by Tottenham Hotspur supporters, in my opinion.
Yes, Dragusin’s performance was disappointing, but he is still only 22 years old. The Romanian international center defender, who joined Tottenham in the January transfer window from Genoa, has also not played in enough games.
The young player made his Premier League debut for Tottenham in the encounter against Fulham. In the upcoming months and years, I believe that the 22-year-old will get better.
