Tottenham signs wonderkid after training with first team, Manchester City have also held initial talks
Tottenham lead the race to sign a highly-rated midfielder who has also held talks with Manchester City and Newcastle United.
Ange Postecoglou will want to replicate the electric start to the Premier League campaign that his side enjoyed last season.
The North London outfit topped the Premier League table under Postecoglou before suffering a drop in form after the Christmas period.

Tottenham are now working towards strengthening their squad with Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray already joining their ranks this summer.
Another midfielder signing could be on the cards for Spurs as HITC understands that an offer has been made to Hertha Berlin youngster Boris Lum.
It is understood that the Bundesliga side have accepted that he will leave this summer and have allowed Lum to pick his new club.
Tottenham are currently ahead of both Newcastle United and Manchester City who have also held talks with the 16-year-old talent.

Spurs are considered the biggest threat to Bayern Munich in the pursuit of Lum’s signature, while Ajax believe they are also an attractive destination for the youngster.
Boris Lum visits Tottenham training ground
According to German outlet Bild, Lum has already held talks with Spurs officials on multiple occasions.
The report adds that the 16-year-old midfielder has also visited Tottenham’s training ground and watched the team in action.
It appears that Spurs are using everything available to them to try and lure Lum to North London.
He is clearly held in high regard at Hertha Berlin, with coach Pal Dardai piling praise on Lum in an interview back in January.
“I haven’t seen such a central midfielder at Hertha for a long time. He is one of the greatest talents of recent years,” Dardai told Bild.
“It is a pleasure to watch him play. He is a born footballer.”
With Gray and Bergvall already signed, Tottenham appear to have a midfield ready for the next decade.
