Get Rid of Him – Expert wants Tottenham to sell midfielder and call for London rivals player for replacement

Tottenham should replace Yves Bissouma with Joao Palhinha, according to John Wenham.

The proprietor of the esteemed Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose thinks that North London should prioritise the acquisition of a prominent midfielder this summer.

Speculation about Spurs pursuing forwards, especially those with vast areas of ability, persists.

In an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, Wenham stated his belief that the club should prioritise signing a new number six, and he specifically mentioned Palhinha as his top priority.

In Wenham’s opinion, Tottenham should contact Fulham to inquire about the transfer fee for Palhinha to North London.

Yves Bissouma has to step it up, and I’d prefer it if Spurs traded him for Palhinha.

That has to take precedence this summer for the club.

Under Ange Postecoglou, Joao Palhinha has the potential to lead Tottenham to greater heights.

Lately, Tottenham’s biggest issue has been giving up goals.

Their lack of midfield defensive stability is a major contributor to the amount of goals they have let in.

There has been a lot of central dominance by Spurs, and Palhinha would make sure it stops.

Bissouma has made 74 tackles this season, whilst the Portugal international has made 131 (according to Premier League).

If the club were to sign Palhinha, it would be a huge step forward from the current Mali international.
