Reliable journalist: £40M midfielder prefers move to Tottenham after Maddison speaks of Postecoglou

Tottenham Hotspur might want to add to their middle during the summer transfer window.

Spurs and Aston Villa are both trying to get into the top four. The fifth-placed team may have a chance to play in the Champions League next season.

Ange Postecoglou’s team really wanted to sign Conor Gallagher in January, but no deal came together.

Ben Jacobs, a transfer expert, says that Tottenham could sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, an attacking midfielder for Leicester City who is highly ranked.

United and Brighton both want to sign the 25-year-old playmaker. Brighton made a £20 million offer in January, but Leicester turned it down. Brighton is likely to make another offer in the summer.

The playmaker really wants to play for Tottenham. James Maddison is a close friend of his and has told him good things about life under Postecoglu.

Leicester City would want around £40m for the player, but if they don’t get promoted, he could leave for more than £25m.

He was being watched by Fabio Paratici before he was banned, but Spurs are not actively trying to make the move right now.

Plans for Tottenham’s summer transfers
This season in the Championship, Dewsbury-Hall has scored 10 goals and set up 12 others. He has been in great shape. Even though his deal with Leicester runs until 2027, there is a chance that he could be moved if the right offer comes along.

The Foxes have been charged with breaking PSR rules, so they may try to get rid of some of their players over the summer.

It will be interesting to see how Spurs spend their money this summer, especially if they get into the Champions League. Postecoglou will definitely want to bring in some good players. Adding a centre back and a striker will be his top priorities.

The north London club could also try to sign Gallagher again, even though he hasn’t signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge yet.
