£25M mother urges everyone to be patient after dream Postecoglou signing awaits his turn

Radu Dragusin’s native country’s press has overdone their coverage of the player for their national team since Tottenham acquired him from Genoa.

He is, after all, the most expensive Romanian ever, and as such, there have been high expectations for him that have not yet been realized.

His mother, who was in attendance at the Romanian Sports Gala and inquired about her son, said that he is still very early in his Tottenham career, as reported by Orange Sport.

Dragusin may have played for Spurs three times already, but he has only played for eight minutes each time because Ange Postecoglou is being very careful with the €25 million acquisition.

Romanian fans, who seemed to be expecting their hero to start right away, were a little concerned about it, but his mother, Svetlana Dragusin, has clarified the strategy.

“I wish he was here (at the gala), but he’s waiting for his turn at Tottenham and has training.” she said. While England is a highly friendly nation, Italy is a really lovely country. We are content. We hope Radu will get settled in since he has a job there.

“We all need to realize that Radu is a young football player on a fantastic team, so we must exercise patience.” Although being from an athletic family undoubtedly benefits him, education has always been the cornerstone of our lives.

Dragusin was a great player at Genoa before moving to Tottenham. He rose to prominence there after joining from Juventus, who would probably regret let him go so easy when all they had to do was play him.
