Report provides update on Micky van de Ven and James Maddison recoveries

Micky van de Ven is expected to return to the field before James Maddison, according to a recent report on the situation at Tottenham Hotspur; nonetheless, both players are receiving meticulous treatment to prevent a recurrence of their present ailments.

If James Maddison and Micky van de Ven hadn’t played well, it’s possible that Tottenham would not have gone undefeated in their first 10 games of the season.

The fact Spurs lost all five of their games after the injury to the two players tells it all, if there was ever evidence of such a thing.

Following the Chelsea loss, Van van Ven pulled up with a hamstring injury and is anticipated to be out until January. Alasdair Gold claims that the Dutchman will be out for at least 12 weeks.

Meanwhile, Maddison had an ankle injury, and the athlete acknowledged that his recuperation may be “slow” (Amazon Prime Video Sport).

Van de Ven may return ahead of Maddison

Here’s the most recent Football update.Van de Ven seems to be leading the race to get back to full fitness, according to London, but neither player will be pressured to speed up their recuperation.

According to the article, van de Ven has already “begun some outdoor running” and “is ahead” of Maddison in terms of getting back into Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup.

But if there’s even a danger of “a reoccurrence of their respective” ailments, neither player will be hurried into “match action” or given the opportunity to return to group training.

In Our Views

When these two guys join the squad again, I can’t wait. Reuniting Romero and van de Ven in defence will be a huge help, and James Maddison’s inventiveness is what we’ve been missing lately. A strong finish to the season is possible if we can only make it to their return dates mostly uninjured.
