Tottenham very close to agree first summer transfer deal

Spurs borrowed Timo Werner from RB Leipzig and then bought him in January.

Spurs needed to improve their attack, so they signed the defender who used to play for Chelsea.

At the end of the season, the Premier League club can pay £15 million to make the deal official and buy the German international.

Ange Postecoglou’s team has played seven Premier League games this season. The midfielder has scored two goals and set up two others.

Werner could be signed by Tottenham on a long-term deal

GiveMeSport says that Tottenham is ready to use their choice to buy Werner forever and sign him this summer.

Dean Jones, a transfer expert who writes for GiveMeSport, talked about Werner’s prospects and said that the Premier League club is likely to finish the final deal.

Tottenham would be getting a great deal if they could sign him for just £15 million. They need to add some offensive power to their team since Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich last summer.

On GiveMeSport, Dean Jones said, “It’s hard to see any other choice than for Werner to stay at Spurs after this season.”

“His option is worth £15 million, which is a great deal when you think about how good he is and how much experience he can bring to the team.”

This Spurs team needs some smart people who know how to handle games and events if they want to make it to the Champions League. Werner has played more than 40 games at that level.

“To think that Spurs will need to play more domestic and European games next season and that they can get a player like this for just £15 million makes it seem like a no-brainer.”

Why Werner should be signed by Tottenham

In the Premier League and the Champions League, the German player has played a lot.

He hasn’t scored many goals, but he is still an important player for Spurs and would help them build their team.

The price being talked about is very low; today, a player with that level of skill would fetch more than £40million.

Werner’s ability to play on the wings or up front can be very important to Postecoglou’s plans.
