Tottenham attacker to miss United game after post surgery rehabilitation
Tottenham forward Manor Solomon continues to recover from a meniscus injury, ruling him out of the upcoming match against Manchester United on January 14, as confirmed by Dr. Rajpal Brar.
The Israeli international won’t be available for the Old Trafford clash, with Dr. Brar, an injury expert, emphasizing the complexity of the rehabilitation process.
The club is cautious, aiming to prevent a recurrence, considering Solomon has been sidelined for over three months.
Dr. Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared exclusive insights on Solomon’s status with Tottenham News, stating, “He suffered a significant meniscus injury and had to undergo surgery on it. That’s never easy, and the recovery does get tricky.”
To manage day-to-day activities and minimize the risk of reinjury, a systematic progression back to full matches and participation in multiple bounce matches is deemed the most effective approach. Solomon is currently a few weeks away from a return to action.
Ange Postecoglou, the Tottenham manager, awaits the 24-year-old’s return, as Solomon’s versatility in the final third adds depth to the squad. Primarily a left winger, he has demonstrated the ability to play on the right wing for Spurs.
In the current season, Solomon, in 198 Premier League minutes, contributed with two assists, proving to be a valuable option for the Lilywhites.
With several players nursing injuries at Spurs, the extent of their activity in the transfer window remains uncertain.
