Tottenham make attempt to hijack deal for midfielder in last few hours – Spurs offer more money

A writer for Expressen named Anel Avdić said on Tuesday that Barcelona target Lucas Bergvall went to England and visited Tottenham Hotspur.

Late that same day, Mundo Deportivo said the young star from Djurgårdens IF had gone to Spain to finalize a move to Camp Nou.

According to reports, the La Liga team was able to beat Tottenham and other teams to the 17-year-old player.

Sport say the player wanted to talk to Barcelona in person and learn more about the city before he agreed to join.

There is a deal between the Catalan club and Djurgårdens IF for €6m plus €3m in bonuses. It depends on Bergvall agreeing to the terms.

People say that the latest attack by the Spanish giants has led a number of other interested teams to make new attempts. Tottenham, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Inter Milan are all in this group.
The story says that these teams are “bidding very hard” with “higher transfer proposals and a higher salary,” but the player is set on joining Barcelona.

The newspaper Mundo Deportivo says that Barcelona wants to try to sign the Swedish player this week.

It’s been said that Tottenham has tried to steal Barcelona’s deal in the “last few hours.”

Spurs would have a hard time with that because Bergvall really wants to join the La Liga team.
