Tottenham cannot afford to sign ‘terrific’ striker this summer as his release clause is too high

Tottenham decides who to sign Doniek Solanke
During the 2023–24 season, Dominik Solanke played very well for Bournemouth.
The English player, who has played for Liverpool and Chelsea before, got 21 goals in all competitions last season, with 19 of them coming in the Premier League.
Many people like Solanke’s play, and several teams have been rumoured to want to sign him this summer.
Tottenham is another team that has been mentioned with Solanke, but there is a problem now.
According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham will not be able to sign the Bournemouth scorer this summer because his release option is a very high £65 million.
It is said in the story that “someone at Tottenham thinks Solanke’s price tag is too high,” which is why any move has not been made.
Tony Cascarino said on talkSPORT (8/6/2024, 7:43 am) that Solanke was having a “terrific” season. In the summer of 2023, Solanke signed a new deal with Bournemouth that doesn’t end until 2027.
That makes the Cherries a very good team if they want to make a move.
There is a better Premier League scorer than Solanke that Tottenham can sign. £65 million for Solanke is a lot of money, even though he had a great season in the 2023–24 season.
Spurs are smart to look elsewhere, as the North Londoners have a number of better choices.
Spurs have been linked with Ivan Toney, and his deal ends in July after the last year. He does everything Solanke does, and some might even say he’s better than the Bournemouth player.
Southgate chose Toney over Solanke for England’s Euro 2024 team, which shows that he agrees with Toney that Solanke is not the best scorer.
It has been said that Tottenham is ready to bid £40 million to get Toney this summer. We agree that he would be a great addition to the Spurs team.
