Postecoglou delight as top Tottenham target drops hint at summer move and explains failure to join London rivals
Tottenham is eyeing a summer move for Antonio Nusa, with the young talent open to leaving Club Brugge after a failed transfer to Brentford earlier this year.
The 18-year-old Norwegian has impressed in the Jupiler Pro League and has already earned caps for the senior national team, making him a sought-after prospect alongside other Norwegian stars like Martin Odegaard and Erling Haaland.
Interest in Nusa has been growing, with Chelsea and Brentford also expressing interest in acquiring his services.
However, a move to Brentford fell through in January over concerns about a supposed knee injury, despite the clubs reaching a €30m deal with Club Brugge.
Despite the setback, Nusa has continued to perform for Brugge, although his goal-scoring form has dipped in recent months.
He has now revealed that he always intended to stay at the club until the summer, making any potential transfer easier to consider.
While Nusa denies any knee injury concerns, he acknowledges the concrete interest in his services and admits that he preferred the idea of a summer move over a January transfer.
Looking ahead to the summer window, Nusa remains open to the possibility of a move, but he is focused on performing for Brugge in the meantime.
He has instructed his agents not to make any decisions at the moment, leaving his future uncertain.
As the summer approaches, Nusa expects to be at the center of transfer speculation, especially from clubs in and around the Premier League.
While he remains open to staying at Brugge, he also acknowledges the possibility of leaving the club, keeping all options open for now.
