Game over for Tottenham star who will be sold this summer; next club and transfer fee cleared

A Spurs star who wasn’t used enough is out of contract, and it’s already clear what will happen next.

Spurs told a player who never got a chance under Ange Postecoglou to find a new club. It has now been revealed who he’s supposed to join and how much he’s supposed to pay.

Tottenham has had a lot of ups and downs this season, but it’s clear that the club is on the right track with Postecoglou in charge.

Spurs’ crushing 3-0 loss to Fulham on Saturday has opened the door for Aston Villa and Manchester United to beat them to a spot in the Champions League.

With the new system, fifth place might be good enough to get into next year’s UCL. There are two extra spots available, and it looks like Serie A and the Premier League will get them.

The loss for Fulham was felt without Micky van de Ven. Cristian Romero and Radu Dragusin, who was brought in in January, played together in the middle of the defense, but they had trouble stopping Fulham and Rodrigo Muniz in particular.

Postecoglou recently said that Tottenham could sign one more center back this summer when asked about their plans for the summer transfer window.

“If you ask, ‘Is it an area (center-back) we can strengthen?’ then the answer is yes, we will probably look at it,'” Postecoglou said.

All of these things are done to make the group stronger more than anything else. Not only are there more of them now than when I first joined, but there were only about six or seven center-backs at the club.

They need to be able to play the style of football we want and fit in with what we’re trying to build here.

“I believe we will work to improve that part of the park. In fact, I believe we will work to improve the whole park by the end of the season.” Plans are already being made for that, but other people are in charge of it right now.

Postecoglou talked about a lot of different center-halves, and Joe Rodon was one of them.

Rodon’s great season at Spurs is over.

The 26-year-old Wales player was sent on loan to Championship team Leeds United before the current season.

Rodon has taken advantage of the chance and, along with Ethan Ampadu, has helped Leeds build the toughest defense in the division since the beginning of the year.

Rodon’s Spurs deal, on the other hand, ends at the end of the 2024–25 season. So, when the loan period is over, he’ll only have one year left on his contract. Leeds did not add a buy option to the loan deal.

Now, HITC says Rodon has been told to leave and look for a new club in the summer.

They say Rodon has been “told” that they don’t have plans for him in the long run. Because he is under contract, a final sale will be allowed.

An planned permanent move to Leeds and an estimate of the fee

If Leeds win promotion, a permanent move back to Elland Road is by far the most likely result. Deals could still be made if they stay in the second level next season, but it would be harder to make.
