Ange now outlines Tottenham star as weak link and wants new £50M+ player to replace him
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has identified one player as a “weak link” in his squad and wants a £55.6 million star to replace him this summer.

The Australian’s initial season in the Spurs dugout may be seen as a success overall, with his style of high-pressing, forward-thinking football winning over many fans at N17 – both within and without the club.

“It’s part of ensuring that we’re all focused on what our ultimate goal is. If we finish fourth this year, it demonstrates that we are improving and making improvements, but that is not the ultimate aim. That is why I believe it is much more essential how we play between now and the conclusion of the year, as well as how we conclude.
“Then we examine everything. If we finish fourth and I feel like we’ve made some improvement and are ready for next year, I’ll be satisfied.”
While Postecoglou will be unconcerned with placing fifth, he has also said that the Tottenham team has to undergo “drastic” changes this summer. Spurs are ready to support their boss with important acquisitions to launch Postecoglou’s reconstruction, and several players are also for sale. This list of surplus Spurs team players supposedly includes striker Richarlison, despite the Brazilian’s total of 11 goals and four assists in the Premier League.
Ange outlines Richarlison is Spurs’ weak link as he targets Sesko
According to TEAMtalk, Postecoglou has lost patience with Richarlison and sees him as a “weak link” moving ahead. As a consequence, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko is generating genuine interest.
Postecoglou supposedly feels Sesko is a “perfect upgrade” on Richarlison, who is reportedly admired in Saudi Arabia. According to TT, Pro League winners Al Hilal are in pole position to get Richarlison, with reports claiming they might pay up to £50 million to buy him from Tottenham.
Sesko’s release clause is roughly £55.6 million, therefore Richarlison’s move to the Middle East might mean Spurs don’t even spend that much on the 6’5″ centre-forward when net spend is taken into consideration.
