Tottenham receive an offer from Saudi Arabia for their ‘magnificent’ player

A Saudi Arabian club has made Tottenham Hotspur an offer for one of its players.

Spurs would seek to let go of a number of players on their roster. It is not ideal at all that some of them are even about to reach the last year of their contracts.

After receiving a proposal from Saudi Arabia, Tottenham now has the opportunity to part ways with one of its players, but it’s not as simple as it seems.

Giovani Lo Celso’s desires when Tottenham receives a proposal from Saudi Arabia to sell him, Since the summer of 2019, Giovani Lo Celso has been a member of Tottenham.

When he plays well, the Argentinean is a really gifted player. He is an attack-minded midfielder with all the makings, but his consistency has been lacking.

Because of this, Lo Celso’s future with the Spurs has been uncertain for a while. He could have even played his last game for Tottenham.

Lo Celso’s contract will expire in July, and it seems that he will not be staying at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium much longer.

Real Betis has been mentioned among the teams interested in signing him, but Spurs have received a formal offer to sell the player.

That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who report that prior to the start of the summer transfer season, Tottenham received an offer for Lo Celso from Saudi Arabia.

The “magnificent” midfielder has ruled out moving to the Middle East, however, since he has no desire in doing so. He is solely interested in joining Real Betis this summer, despite rumours that Galatasaray is also eager to get him.

There might be two more Tottenham midfield players sold

There are more Tottenham midfielders besides Lo Celso who may go off the books this summer.

There are other players in the centre of Ange Postecoglou’s park who are not even close to the top of his hierarchy.

Among them is Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, the Dane who may rejoin Antonio Conte at Napoli when the market opens this summer.

Oliver Skipp is another midfield player that may go from Tottenham. The 2023–24 Spurs academy graduate only saw 861 minutes of action, and it’s possible that he may be sold as well.

Whether Tottenham signs more than one midfield player to take Lo Celso’s position will be intriguing to watch. Should Skipp and Hojbjerg decide to leave the Spurs this summer.
