Tottenham chiefs have now put “fantastic” £110k/week Ange regular starter up for sale

Tottenham Hotspur has placed a “fantastic” mainstay player on the market as part of Ange Postecoglou’s ongoing rebuild. The club’s technical director Johan Lange and the wider recruitment team have already sanctioned the exits of several senior players, with more departures expected.

Reliable sources like Fabrizio Romano and Paul O’Keefe report that Girona is in talks to sign out-of-favor winger Bryan Gil, while Richarlison is attracting interest from Saudi Arabian clubs.

Additionally, uncertainty surrounds Giovani Lo Celso’s future, as he saw limited opportunities under Postecoglou last season.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has joined Marseille on an initial loan deal, which will become permanent for £17 million next summer. He joins a list of players already out the door, including Ryan Sessegnon, Japhet Tanganga, Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Tanguy Ndombele, and Joe Rodon.

Surprisingly, even Son Heung-min has been linked with a potential exit, with Al-Ahli expressing interest in the South Korean superstar. However, Chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to consider selling the 32-year-old due to his importance to the team.

Following these exits, Tottenham has reinvested in new talent, signing Archie Gray from Leeds United for £40 million and extending Timo Werner’s loan deal. Spurs are also rumored to be in the market for an attacking signing before the transfer window closes on August 30, with Levy and Lange likely waiting until the end of the window to make formal moves.

A new report from Italy claims that Tottenham has now put mainstay winger Dejan Kulusevski up for sale. The Swede played 36 Premier League games last season, starting 31 and contributing 11 goals.

Despite his first-team status, Tottenham is open to offers for Kulusevski, and former Spurs boss Antonio Conte, now at Napoli, may be interested in signing him.

Kulusevski joined Tottenham on an initial loan deal in January 2022, which became permanent in the summer of 2023. The £110,000-per-week winger has four years remaining on his contract, and it remains to be seen if Spurs will demand a marquee fee for him.

Conte has previously praised Kulusevski, highlighting his physical strength, technical skills, and fearlessness on the field.
