Tottenham officials prepare positive report for transfer of wizard forward

Lange is working on the Spurs summer roster. Since his arrival in November, Johan Lange, the new technical director, has been working under chief football officer Scott Munn and chairman Daniel Levy. He is already in the process of deciding who to hire later in the year.

Paul O’Keefe, an FA-registered intermediary and trusted source on Spurs matters, has revealed that the team is currently considering a number of potential targets, including Barcelona’s Raphinha. This comes after Spurs’ outstanding January window.

Spurs’ outstanding first season under manager Ange Postecoglou was capped off by victories over Bayern Munich and Barcelona in response to the signings of Radu Dragusin and Lucas Bergvall, respectively. This is particularly noteworthy considering the club hasn’t won a trophy since 2008 and isn’t participating in the Champions League this year.

But Spurs have found many supporters of Postecoglou’s approach, and they are now strong favorites to play in Europe’s most coveted league the next season.

The current optimism in north London will go a long way toward luring some of the club’s summer targets, who will be closely following the action. In addition to Raphinha, players Albert Gudmundsson of Genoa, Riccardo Calafiori of Bologna, Tosin Adarabioyo of Fulham, Teun Koopmeiners of Atalanta, and Ivan Toney of Brentford have all been connected in the last week alone.

Additionally, new players are often joining the team as Lange and company widen the Tottenham net.

Tottenham has Baris Yilmaz in their sights.
Spurs are currently keeping an eye on Baris Yilmaz, a midfielder for Galatasaray, if claims originating from Europe are to be believed.

The international star’s efforts this season have attracted club scouts after he helped Galatasaray win the Süper Lig title with Turkey last year. Although Yilmaz has already recorded three goals and one assist, the adaptable winger has established himself as a fixture and their “star player” in general.

Sabah claims that Spurs authorities have “prepared a positive report for the transfer” of Yilmaz, and they also state this. In an intriguing draw, the 23-year-old, who can play center forward, has also been used for Galatasaray as a right-back and left-back.

According to the site, it would need around £17 million to get him out of Turkey, therefore from Tottenham’s point of view, the cost would also be reasonable. What’s arguably most fascinating, however, is that Spurs’ discovery of Yilmaz was mostly accidental.

In fact, the club first went to check on Tanguy Ndombele’s development at Galatasaray on loan before paying serious attention to the player’s achievements. It will be intriguing to see the outcome, since Yilmaz appears to be a very potential asset.
