Exclusive: Tottenham plot stunning hijack, sensation could arrive at Hotspur Way

Sources tell Football Insider that Tottenham will ask Swedish star Lucas Bergvall to visit their Hotspur Way training ground as they try to sign him this summer.

Barcelona is also interested in the 17-year-old Djurgardens IF player and is putting on a show to try to get him to join this year.

Barcelona is rumoured to be ready to pay £6 million for the central player plus an extra £2.5 million in add-ons. However, Tottenham wants to get in on the deal and wants to talk about it at the training ground.

Bergvall’s play in the Swedish top flight has impressed teams all over Europe, and he is likely to move to a top European league.

In 28 games across all categories, he has scored three goals and set up one.

Many people think the 2006-born star, who joined Djurgardens in December 2022, is one of Sweden’s best young possibilities.
