Injured Tottenham player likely to be available v Everton, may have undergone procedure
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rajpal Brar, a specialist on injuries, as a new exclusive writer. He will provide his opinions on Tottenham Hotspur’s injury status every week.
Dr Rajpal Brar reports that Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson should be ready for the match on December 23 against Everton.
According to the injury specialist, he most likely had stitches put in after suffering a head laceration during the victory against Nottingham Forest, and he should heal quickly.
The Wales international has a 50% chance of being available for the match due to Premier Injuries.
Dr. Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapist, spoke exclusively with Tottenham News about the current state of play with Johnson.
A laceration is just a cut—to his skull in this instance.
“It’s crucial to monitor the wound’s healing process and its ability to withstand pressure if he had a treatment or received sutures, since it seems unlikely that it would reopen.
“Unless there are new complications, he should be back in action by the weekend.”
As a result of the Spurs’ multiple injuries this season, Johnson has seen more playing time than he had anticipated.
For Ange Postecoglou’s team, he has already made 11 Premier League appearances, recording one goal and two assists.
This term, Johnson has played on the left wing, right wing, and even led the Lilywhites’ line.
Whether or not he is included in the starting eleven, it is unclear whether he will be cleared to play against Everton.
