I’m very angry: 23yr old Tottenham player says he’s absolutely furious with his finishing

Dejan Kulusevski said that his Saturday Tottenham Hotspur finish left him feeling “very angry.”

Spurs were undoubtedly lucky to lose by only one goal against Wolves in their dismal 2-1 home loss.

I apologize, but we must discuss England.
For long stretches of the match, Ange Postecoglou’s team controlled the ball, but they were unable to penetrate a strong Wolves defense. In actuality, Gary O’Neil’s strategy was spot on as Wolves consistently exposed Tottenham on the counterattack.

After Spurs had threatened to reenter the game in the second half, Joao Gomes’ double gave O’Neil’s team the victory.

Just after the break, Dejan Kulusevski leveled the score with a spectacular strike from a challenging angle. However, the Swede feels that after yesterday’s loss, he ought to have had a few more to his name.

“Very angry” about how he finished against the Wolves, Kulusevski

Kulusevski said in an interview with Spurs Play that he ought to have taken advantage of a few opportunities that came his way against Wolves.

“It’s definitely difficult to break teams apart,” he said. “We were attempting in the first half, but we were unable to solve the problem.

“I always think you have to do something special, and special teams come from confidence, and that’s usually where the talent comes in.” Therefore, you must persevere and know that excellent work will come more easily.

“I’m very sad, actually very angry, because I had two more very close opportunities to score, but that’s life. It was one good moment [for the goal].”

Despite having good wins before to the loss to Wolves, Spurs haven’t exactly been at their best in recent weeks.

Some might argue that Postecoglou’s guys were just absent from the races yesterday and that a loss was inevitable.

The following two weeks will be busy for the Australian before Tottenham hosts Crystal Palace. Kulusevski had a stunning finish on Saturday, despite his frustration with his finishing.
