Tottenham keeping eyes on rapid £75M player who teammate says is a beast

Even though they signed Radu Dragusin in January, Tottenham Hotspur is still keeping a close eye on Everton back Jarrad Branthwaite.

This season, Branthwaite has been one of Everton’s best players under Sean Dyche.

But people in other places have looked at his efforts with admiration.

Tottenham is also said to be interested in the young player. Arsenal is also known to be interested.

Tottenham is still interested in Jarrad Branthwaite

The Daily Mail says that Tottenham’s interest in Branthwaite has not yet reached a peak, even though they have signed Radu Dragusin.

It is said that Spurs are keeping a close eye on Branthwaite ahead of the summer, when Everton is likely to ask for around £75 million for the back.

Branthwaite has been very good all season, and James Tarkowski, who plays defense with him, has said nice things about him.

“He looks like a beast. Because he’s so quick, I believe that I can leave him alone in the channel. He seems like he might be our fastest player. People try to run him down the line. I think Antonio tried to do it, and we all know how bad Antonio is. Jarrad just beat him down the line, and I told him, “Fine, I’ll handle it,” Tarkowski told Fozcast.

Because he played well at the under-21 level, Branthwaite is also a remote chance of making England’s Euro 2016 team.

A rising star

He seems like a real star whose future lies with one of the best clubs, just like many others who have come before him.

We saw John Stones grow at Everton and then move on to Manchester City. It wouldn’t be surprising if Branthwaite did the same thing.

There aren’t many better young defenders in Europe right now than Branthwaite, and teams will want to hire him.

With Romero, Van de Ven, and Dragusin, he would give Tottenham really great strength at the back.

It’s still not clear if they’ll pay the required fee as well. That being said, Branthwaite will become a star, so the money will be worth it in the long run.
