Worrying – Tottenham News signing subbed off in national game after being stamped on, seen limping around pitch

Lucas Bergvall just got hurt while playing for his country, which could be bad news for both Tottenham and Djurgården.

This is from Aftonbladet, who wrote about the game in which Sweden’s U21s beat North Macedonia’s U21s 2-0.

The new player from Tottenham, who will join Ange Postecoglou’s team in the summer, started the game but had to leave after about an hour.

Mihail Dimitrievski is said to have “stamped on Lucas Bergvall’s foot.” The skilled player was then taken off the field after “limping around for a while.”

Djurgården’s first league game is this coming weekend, and he might not be able to make it because of this.

Everyone, including Tottenham, hopes it’s nothing serious, but you can be sure that Spurs will be asking about and getting updates on any tests that might happen, since they are said to be very involved with the Swedish team, especially with their newest player.
