Tottenham now want to sign brilliant wing back for free after Ledley King

Tottenham is already strategizing for the upcoming summer, aiming to bolster their squad under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou in the transfer market.

Having made significant signings such as Timo Werner, Lucas Bergvall, and Radu Dragusin in the previous summer and January transfer windows, Postecoglou is keen to further strengthen the squad with new additions.

According to a report from Football Transfers, Tottenham is considering a move for West Ham defender Ben Johnson.

Reportedly, Spurs are monitoring Johnson as contract negotiations between him and West Ham have hit a standstill.

The versatile 24-year-old, capable of playing on both flanks, is viewed favorably by Postecoglou, who sees him as valuable cover for Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro.

In light of this situation, Tottenham is poised to swoop in for Johnson and secure his signature on a free transfer if talks with West Ham remain unresolved.
