Journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed what his sources have told him about Tottenham Hotspur’s rumoured pursuit of an England international.
Tottenham’s interest in the Man City man is not new, with reports indicating that Spurs held extensive talks with Grealish’s representatives about a move in January.
It was reported last month that Tottenham had called off their pursuit of Grealish after Thomas Frank arrived at the club, but other outlets have contradicted that claim.
One of those is Football Transfers, who have asserted that Frank has greenlighted Tottenham’s move for Grealish, with the Dane said to be a fan of the City star.

Just a few days ago, a new report asserted that Tottenham are battling Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Ham for Grealish, who is surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium.
Journalist Ben Jacobs has now revealed on The Last Word on Spurs podcast that the Lilywhites did hold internal discussions over a move for the 29-year-old this summer.
However, he added that his sources have made it clear that Spurs are not expected to push ahead with a move for the England international.

Following the arrival of Mohammed Kudus, Tottenham are well stocked for wide options, and it does not come as a surprise that they have abandoned their pursuit of Grealish.
It has been claimed over recent days that next on Spurs’ transfer agenda is signing a top-class defensive midfielder.
It has also been alleged that Thomas Frank also wants to add another number nine to his squad, which makes sense in light of rumours that Richarlison could be on his way out from Spurs.
