According to a recent update from TeamTalk, discussions have gone smoothly, and transfer specialist João Miguel reported last night that the deal is now completed, with an agreement in place for the summer.
Sports journalist François Plateau has provided further insight, indicating that the player’s camp is confident about his future at Tottenham next season. Plateau shared this update on X:
Nusa is set to fulfill his wish of not leaving the club mid-season, opting to stay until the end of the season with Club Brugge before potentially joining Spurs in the summer.
Having scored three goals and provided two assists in six starts across 15 appearances in the Belgian Pro League, Nusa has showcased his talent.
In this transfer pursuit, Spurs have demonstrated a significant statement of intent by swiftly securing the signature of the talented youngster despite interest from other top clubs.
It is noteworthy that although there was a chance to sign Antonio Nusa for €3 million in 2021 when he played for Stabaek in Norway, Spurs are determined not to repeat that mistake, even if the current deal comes at a higher cost than the missed opportunity in 2021.
