Tottenham To Submit £60 Million For 27yr Old Liverpool Target
Tottenham is said to have made a £60 million bid for the 27-year-old Liverpool target.
According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur has made an offer to capture Raphinha, a winger for Barcelona.
For months, the 27-year-old has been connected to a return to the Premier League, and it seems that teams like Tottenham and Liverpool are eager to recruit him.
It is unclear whether Barcelona would accept Tottenham’s bid of €70 million (£60 million) for the Brazilian winger, according to a report from the Spanish daily SPORT.
The Spanish might use the money from Raphinha’s sale to bolster their roster at the conclusion of the season, but they do have financial constraints. The 27-year-old hasn’t exactly been a standout player for the La Liga team, so it wouldn’t be shocking if they let him to go.
It would be intriguing to see whether Liverpool makes a formal offer to sign the player as well. The club has been connected to Mohamed Salah’s departure, and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia is allegedly willing to pay €100 million for the Egyptian international.
Liverpool will need to find a suitable replacement for him, and the former Leeds United winger would be a good addition.
In all competitions, Raphinha has four goals and seven assists to his credit. In the latter third, he will provide technical skill and inventiveness. He may not score goals as often as Salah, but he might more than adequately replace the Egyptian international’s inventiveness.
