The Tottenham recruitment team are considering making a move for the 19-year-old who prefers playing out wide on the left and can even feature on the opposite flank or as a number ten. According to a report from GIVEMESPORT, Spurs feel it will be difficult to strike a deal for Doue amidst significant interest in his services from across Europe.

The French youth international has come up the ranks at Stade Rennais and has been a part of their first team since the summer of 2022. Over the last two seasons, the youngster has been involved in 76 matches and he has contributed towards 15 goals (8 goals, 7 assists). He has featured almost everywhere in attack and his impressive rise has resulted in a significant amount of interest.

With Dejan Kulusevski’s future uncertain, Spurs want to bring in a top-quality winger to ensure they have enough in their tanks to push for a top-four spot. While they do prefer a proven Premier League star and have their eyes on Eberechi Eze and Pedro Neto, the North London club are also considering signing Doue.

They were hoping a roadmap to Spurs’ first-team would help convince the teenager about the move but it seems a deal has proving to be quite difficult so far. It will be interesting to see if the North London club can get the deal done eventually.
