Update on tottenham injury list as Romero, Maddison and Micky van de Ven return dates

Cristian Romero, who was substituted out of Saturday’s 2-1 victory against Everton due to hamstring stiffness, is anticipated to be fine for Tottenham’s trip to Brighton.

The Argentine defender was a major question for the match at the Amex, but according to LondonWorld sources, he will be evaluated before to the match and is expected to play at center back with Ben Davies against Roberto de Zerbi’s team.

Dutch center back Ben Davies has been excellent since taking over and is probably going to be around until Micky van de Ven returns next year. Van de Ven is currently out until January due to a hamstring ailment. Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Spurs, has successfully navigated his team back to three straight victories despite injuries and bans that threatened to ruin their season.

The Lilywhites lack James Maddison’s creative spark as well, but they have made an effort to make up for it by strategically using Giovani Lo Celso, who has been widely linked to a January transfer to Barcelona.

After losing Harry Kane and openly doubting the morality and dedication of his players after a 3–3 draw at Southampton, few people predicted Tottenham would be fourth in the league standings at Christmas, yet here we are.

A ban will prevent midfielder Yves Bissouma from playing for the team until after the AFCON. Pape Matar Sarra will accompany him to the Ivory Coast, but Destiny Udogie will be back from his one-game suspension.
