Tottenham have sent club out-of-window offer to sign their star player
In an attempt to add a striker this summer, Tottenham has made an out-of-window offer of £17 million for the top player of one club. Ange Postecoglou is the manager of the team.
Spurs are still developing as Ange loses 4-0 at Newcastle
The north Londoners suffered their worst loss of the season last weekend, losing badly 4-0 on the road at Newcastle United. This setback severely hinders their hopes of finishing in the top four, while Aston Villa triumphed over Arsenal.
Although Postecoglou’s offensive style of play has earned him many fans and revitalized Tottenham as a whole after Antonio Conte’s disastrous last season in command, it’s evident that they’re still very much a work in progress.
Spurs will be depending on a mistake in the Midlands to make up distance, but Unai Emery’s Villa are well-positioned to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.
Tottenham’s next league fixtures | Date |
---|---|
Arsenal (home) | April 28th |
Chelsea (away) | May 2nd |
Liverpool (away) | May 5th |
Burnley (home) | May 11th |
Man City (home) | May 14th |
Postecoglou thinks that learning is “painful” and that Tottenham will continue to lose badly as they work to become a successful squad over the long run. He made these remarks after his team’s collapse at St. James’ Park.
Following Tottenham’s loss against Newcastle, Postecoglou said, “Newcastle were good, credit to them.” We just couldn’t get the hang of the game at all. We paid a heavy price since we never completely seized control at any point.
“We let them control how the game was conducted. Our bravery on the ball was lacking. It was mostly self-inflicted. It is identical to the previous games. It makes no sense to mope about feeling sorry for oneself. In two weeks, we have another game.
We have suffered severe defeats before, and this one won’t be the last. We’re growing as a result of that. There are moments when that growing hurts. I was worried about everything. Today, we were not harmed by a single place. We never managed to establish a pace.
Spurs’ development will be greatly aided by the summer transfer window, and it’s said that technical director Johan Lange is looking to add a striker to the team in lieu of Harry Kane.
Tottenham creates a window out of The bid of Mohamed Amoura
Mohamed Amoura, a standout player for Union St. Gillosie who has scored an amazing 22 goals in all competitions during 2023–2024, is a guy to keep an eye on in this respect.
After Riyad Mahrez, he seems to be Algeria’s next big thing. According to Le Soir, Tottenham has reportedly made an out-of-window approach to acquire Amoura, who the Union values at around £17 million.
The specifics of Spurs’ offer and Union’s response are unknown, but Daniel Levy, the chairman, is aware of the cost necessary to make a transaction in order to provide Postecoglou with more influence.
