Tottenham join Liverpool, in race for £22m forward with incredible technique
Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United might all have busy transfer windows this summer.
Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou has laid some solid groundwork, but there is still more to be done to improve the squad’s overall performance and competitiveness.
Meanwhile, the Gunners will be keen to strengthen after another championship challenge, and the Reds will want Arne Slot to have the best group to begin his term.
The Red Devils have had an unimpressive season in both the league and the Champions League, and they have a lot of work ahead of them.
All four teams, including Manchester City, have been connected with a 22-year-old striker who seems to be available for under £22 million.
Yuito Suzuki is the player in issue, and he plays for Danish club Brondby as well as the Japan Under-23 national team.
According to Bold.dk, Suzuki played for Brondby on Wednesday, scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 victory against Nordsjaelland.
Scouts from Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Manchester City, Milan, Ajax, Espanyol, and Stuttgart were allegedly in attendance.
Tottenham reportedly scouted Suzuki for the second time in a few weeks, after Liverpool did so in April.
According to the article, the 22-year-old’s worth is roughly €25 million (£22 million), and it might climb much more if he continues to perform well.
What has been stated about Yuito Suzuki, a Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United transfer target?
Suzuki just joined Brondby last summer, but he has made a significant impact for the Danes.
The £510,000 signing from Shimizu S-Pulse has 11 goals and nine assists in 30 appearances for Brondby.
“Suzuki has some qualities that make him a player we don’t see very often in the Super League,” said Brondby manager Jesper Sorensen to Bold.dk in April.
We saw a lot of promise when he came. The effort we made in ensuring his successful integration was well spent.”
“He has amazing skill and balance. Despite being under pressure, he emerges victorious in a tight bout. He finishes equally effectively with both legs, despite being right-footed.”
With all of this in mind, it remains to be seen if Brondby will cash in and make a large profit on Suzuki, despite interest from the Premier League’s top clubs.
