Tottenham could now sign ‘electric’ player after overnight news from English rivals – …

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal will be eagerly awaiting to see what their teams produce during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The London duo might have had some inspiration from the Championship play-off final that was contested between Southampton and Leeds United on Sunday.

It’s one of the biggest and most pressured games in English football, with Southampton beating Leeds 1-0 at Wembley to secure instant promotion back to the Premier League and condemn the Yorkshire club to another season in England’s second tier.

Throughout the season, as their star players were lighting up the Championship, transfer rumours were emerging and involving the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal.

Spurs finished their first campaign under Ange Postecoglou in fifth spot, whilst Arsenal missed out on the Premier League title on the final day of the campaign to Manchester City.

Crysencio Summerville to leave Leeds United?

The 22-year-old scored 19 goals in England’s second tier and blew away many, many teams this season with his ‘electric’ performances.

But, unfortunately, when it mattered most and during Leeds’ biggest game of the season, he failed to turn up and was shut off by Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters.

Regardless of that, you still expect Summerville to head for the exit door and you assume the likes of Spurs and Arsenal will be on alert more than ever before now.
