Bye-bye: Tottenham and Ange ready to sell “incredible” player straight away this summer

Looking to start the summer revamp, Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou are ready to bid one of their players farewell right now.

Spurs want a spotless residence
Spurs ranked fifth in the Premier League after a dismal season marked by five of their last seven games lost. Though, given the expectations of the club about Harry Kane’s departure, Postecoglou’s first season was still probably successful as he gave a team that had stagnated under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte energy.

Now, the Lilywhites are eager to expand on that success and will buy into Postecoglou’s style of play during the summer transfer window; with the Australian having already indicated significant changes are required.

“We have two windows and definitely seen player improvement; yet, when I say we still have a long way to go, that is what I mean. We cannot yet be there as it is difficult to state you will undergo radical transformation and yet expect everyone to be on that road.

He said at the start of May: “It’s not for the want of trying; it’s just that we’re going to play a certain way, we’re going to train a certain way and we’re going to have a certain mentality; that’s not for everyone”.

“I must replace this team; I have to. I have to assemble a team, thus I believe I can play our football. There must be exits if it is to take place. I cannot just have everyone here and continue drawing in players. So sometimes you let guys go when you think “he’s a terrific player,” but how am I going to change if I don’t do that?”

Spurs and Postecoglou are now poised to live up to such remarks.

Tanguy Ndombele headed right away from Spurs.

According to a Football Insider article, Tanguy Ndombele will be leaving the club after the Frenchman went through another difficult loan term. Originally signed from Lyon for a club-record sum, the midfielder has never truly lived up to his price tag but sometimes shows unquestionable skill.

When Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice faced him in West Ham colors, he called him a “street footballer” and said:

“He is best. Just a street player on the field. He picks the ball anywhere and uses tiny flicks and moves. Like he not gives a damn about. He does things with such assurance.

“You simply have to enable guys like them to operate. Allow them the liberty to go out and do what they choose. He was outstanding when we faced Lyon in the Europa League. He ranks as a top player.

Though he still has a year still to go on his £200,000 a week contract with Tottenham, he has never been able to repeat it there in north London. Now his time there is fast drawing to an end.

According to Football Insider, Spurs will start their summer attempting to sell the midfielder “straight away” when he gets back from Galatasaray; there are no intentions to reintegrate him into Postecoglou’s team.

Another question is if a buyer can be found; yet, Ndombele not have shown for the Lilywhites since January 2022, so a permanent departure is probably best for everybody involved.
