Tottenham now closing in on agreement to sign exciting player after Levy proposal
Tottenham Hotspur has already signed Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig and Radu Dragusin on a permanent deal from Genoa. They could still go back to the transfer market to get more players for Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs are currently competing for a spot in the top four of the Premier League. It would be a success for them to make it to the Champions League. Daniel Levy and the rest of the team have also backed the former Celtic manager so far this month, bringing in a new center back to cover Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero and an attacker to help out.
Postecoglou recently talked about the two replacements. He first talked about Dragusin, saying, “Before the window opened, we decided that Radu would be our number one priority.” I like how defensive he is and how physically strong he is. He still has a lot of room to grow.

Then the Australian talked about Werner: “I had a good talk with [Technical Director] Johan Lange about it and thought Timo would be a great fit for us in terms of style.” He definitely has the qualities we want. He’s a guy in that space who can play all three spots, which gives us a lot of options and skill in the front third.
Now, the Spurs manager might be ready to bring in a new player. Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider says that Levy and Spurs have made an offer to sign Antonio Nusa before the end of the month and are almost ready to sign the player. A story says the deal for the Club Brugge winger could cost £25 million. Talks that happened overnight on Friday put the Lilywhites in the lead to sign the 18-year-old star in some development.
According to reports, Brugge wants to keep Nusa until the summer so they can try to win the Belgium Pro League. However, Spurs seems to be testing their resolve, and they might even loan the player back for the rest of the season. Now, the North London club has to wait and see if their plan is strong enough.
“Exciting” Nusa is a brand new one
Nusa has already made his mark on the big stage, as he is a full international for Norway. Postecoglou’s Spurs team could be the biggest stage he has ever been on. If the teenager makes a move, his Norway partner Martin Odegaard may be watching in North London. Odegaard has previously said nice things about Nusa.
The leader of Arsenal had said before, “Fantastic!” The way he plays is really exciting. It’s exciting to watch every time he gets the ball. He will get better because he is still young. It was fun to see him. The chance he takes to such an extent was earned by him. Really cool.””
Odegaard’s praise of Nusa is also backed up by her stats. The player for Club Brugge has scored three goals and set up three more for the Belgian team so far this season. Things could only get better from here. Since Spurs is in first place, the Lilywhites may be able to get a player who can finally replace Heung-min Son in North London. Son is South Korean and is now in his 30s.
