Outstanding: Postecoglou thinks Tottenham have a player who can now become one of the best in the world

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, thinks that defender Micky van de Ven has no limits.

Although a lot of people thought Spurs would defeat Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, the match turned into a test.

Palace took the lead thanks to an incredible free kick from Eberechi Eze, and Tottenham had to rally from behind once again.

Under Ange Postecoglou, this is starting to take off, but they really picked up speed once they discovered a leveler in Timo Werner.

In the battle for Champions League football, Spurs secured a decisive win with goals from Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min.

While several Tottenham players performed well in this match, defender Micky van de Ven’s fierce demeanor stood out.

After suffering what seemed to be an ankle injury inside the first ten minutes, the Dutchman looked to be leaving the field.

Rather than give up, Van de Ven persevered and played the whole 90 minutes, assisting Tottenham in winning.

Since making the big £43 million transfer from Wolfsburg to Tottenham during the summer, the 22-year-old has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Throughout the season, Van van Ven has been a standout player for Spurs because to his lightning-fast speed, which also helps the team repel counterattacks.

Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, has now honored Van de Ven in a statement published on the team’s official website.

Postecoglou seems to think that Van de Ven may become one of the greatest in the world and that there is “just no ceiling” for him.

Postecoglou went on to say that Van de Ven’s speed was “really important,” as it helped neutralize Palace’s counterattacking strategy.

“I believe Mateta had a physical exam! We can see that Micky is always improving in training; he has been excellent the whole year, according to Postecoglou. “He has no limits when it comes to his growth, maturity, and physical prowess.”

“Today, he was significant. Because of his quickness and ability to locate people, he is suited for situations when we don’t have to defend deeply and they attempt to play on the counterattack. He said, “I felt he was really important today.”

We would all agree that Van de Ven has a great deal of promise.

The Tottenham defender is still in his rookie season in the Premier League and even missed a portion of it due to an injury.
