Initially, we were a bit worried, but you need a week for it to settle down. The latest information I got this morning was that it’s nowhere near as bad as we might have thought it was, and hopefully, there will be a quicker turnaround for him.”
Meanwhile, the situations involving Romero and Van de Ven remain uncertain, leaving Spurs without their starting center-back pairing. Postecoglou addressed their status, saying, “We probably won’t get clarity until next week.
When guys get injured, without getting too technical, you need to let the injuries settle down before you get the real prognosis. That will probably be some time next week with Micky and Cristian.”
In addition to the defensive concerns, Spurs face other challenges in squad availability. Yves Bissouma will miss the upcoming match due to suspension, adding to the team’s complications.
