Spurs to act fast as club prepared to activate La Liga winger’s release clause
As reported by Dailysports.net and published in Futbol Total, Tottenham Hotspur is prepared to go forward with a January deal to capture Girona winger Viktor Tsyhankov.
Tsyhankov originally gained recognition at Dynamo Kyiv, and since moving to Spain in January of this year, he has excelled.
With three goals and three assists in his 14 La Liga games this season, the 26-year-old has established himself as a key member of Girona’s squad (Transfermarkt).
With 50 caps for Ukraine, the adaptable attacker—who can play on either wing and as a number eight or ten—has scored 11 goals.
Viktor Tsyhankov is set to be acquired by Tottenham
According to Futbol Total, Spurs are prepared to make a bid for Tsyhankov when the transfer market opens next month because of his remarkable performances.
The winger’s contract with Girona reportedly contains a release clause of €30 million (£25.8 million), which Ange Postecoglou’s team is prepared to pay.

Given that Tsyhankov is not mentioned in any of the major Spanish or British newspapers, this transfer connection seems to be fictitious. We will have to wait to find out how this tale develops.
