Spurs could sink blow 16-goal forward after holding talks
According to reports, Inter Milan should be very cautious while trying to recruit Albert Gudmundsson since Tottenham Hotspur is said to have spoken with Genoa about a possible move for the attacker.
The story confirms the many reports over the last several weeks, according to which Inter is competing with teams like Tottenham, Napoli, and Juventus to sign Gudnumundsson.
It is stated that Piero Ausilio, the sporting director of the Nerazzurri, will now have to choose how to approach the Icelandic international, stating that Tottenham’s challenge presents a “big risk” for the team.
The Premier League team has reportedly been in communication with Genoa for “some time” over a move, and they are eager to sign the 26-year-old this summer.
Tottenham is prepared to offer money to get Albert Gudmundsson.
According to the source, the Lilywhites might be prepared to make a sizable offer in the next weeks in an attempt to “sink the blow” for Gudmundsson.

According to the newspaper, Genoa values its top player between €30 and €35 million (£25.5 and £29.8 million), and Ange Postecoglou’s team should have no trouble matching their demands.

Tottenham won’t have any issues paying the asking amount, but it could be difficult to persuade Gudmundsson to make the transfer since I don’t think Postecoglou could guarantee the forward any playing time.
