Big Blow for Spurs as doctor confirms Spurs ace miss the Brighton game due to complicated injury
Giovani Lo Celso, a midfielder for Tottenham, had an injury that injury specialist Dr. Rajpal Brar described as “complicated.”
The Argentine has been out of action since sustaining a hamstring injury during the encounter against Burnley.
O’Keefe reports that there are still unclear information surrounding Lo Celso’s health, raising doubts about the degree of his injuries.
The return date of Lo Celso is still unknown, as the Evening Standard recently reported, and Dr. Brar has now provided his professional view on the subject.
He discloses that the midfield player’s recuperation is being hampered by the fact that he is coping with hamstring and thigh issues concurrently. He raises the possibility that Lo Celso won’t be ready for the impending match against Brighton.
He commented in an interview with NewsnowSpurs News:
“He has a hamstring injury in addition to his thigh injury, so there’s further concern that it’s in a more difficult location, like closer to the tendon.
This indicates a much greater level of nerve involvement, which may result in a variety of problems in the road.
“It is crucial that the club waits to bring him back.
It seems that they are evaluating his fitness game by game, which is the appropriate course of action. If he has not recovered, he may not return for the next game.
Even though he only plays a supporting role, Lo Celso has been giving some of his best performances in a Spurs jersey under Ange Postecoglou.
With four goals (two goals and two assists) in 10 league games, he has made a major contribution and filled in excellently for James Maddison while he was out.
