Spurs and Chelsea hold ‘frequent talks’ over signing 21-year-old midfielder
The Daily Express have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are now pushing ahead with a move for Georgiy Sudakov but Shakhtar Donetsk are not in a hurry to do business and are set to demand a huge fee for the midfielder.
Sudakov has come on leaps and bounds since establishing himself in Shakhtar’s senior side last season and the midfielder is now widely thought of as one of the best young talents in Ukrainian football.

The Express claim that both Spurs and Chelsea are among several clubs who have shown ‘strong interest’ in securing the 21-year-old’s services this summer.

In fact, the report states that the two London clubs have held ‘frequent talks’ over a deal in the lead-up to the summer transfer window.

However, the Premier League duo might have to bide their time as Shakhtar are keen to wait until after the Euros to sell their star man as they expect him to shine in Germany.
It is alleged that barring a huge offer, the Ukrainian club will not sell Sudakov before the tournament.
In fact, there is thought to be a belief at Shakhtar that they can get another huge fee for the youngster, similar to the £62m that they got from Chelsea for Mykhaylo Mudryk.
