‘Bit of breaking news’: Sky Sports has update on Tottenham’s pursuit of former Chelsea ace after new twist
Tottenham is one of the teams that wants to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Nottingham Forest, and Sky Sports has interesting news this afternoon.
This was the Forest winger’s best season at the City Ground. He scored eight goals to help the Reds avoid relegation.
But FFP and PSR could get Forest into even more trouble, so they might need to sell players this summer. Hudson-Odoi is one of those players who is worth selling.
This week, rumours started to spread that Tottenham would like to sign the former Chelsea player.
But the most recent report from Sky Sports News says that Tottenham won’t have a clear path to Hudson-Odoi because other Premier League teams are also interested.

Premier League teams want Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Tottenham is said to be interested.
Sky’s Matt Ford gave a report on the situation involving Hudson-Odoi and Forest while talking live on air about Sky. He also suggested that other people are involved.
Ford said, “We have some breaking news about Nottingham Forest and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who had a great end to the season for Forest.”
“Three Premier League teams that we don’t know about want to sign Hudson-Odoi.” One of those clubs is thought to be in the Champions League, so Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, or Aston Villa are all thought to be interested.
“He made 20 Premier League starts last season and scored eight goals. His contract is almost up for the last two years.”
Calum Hudson-Odoi was always going to have a good season, and it looks like he has finally done that with Forest.
As a result, there is now more interest, and it’s not a surprise that Tottenham is interested since Ange Postecoglou likes to play with quick wingers.
But the fact that other teams are also interested in Hudson-Odoi shows that there is a lot of interest in him.
And this is great for Forest because it makes the price go up and gives them something like a sale to watch.
We should not forget that Hudson-Odoi was once linked with a big-money move to Bayern Munich, which shows how good he is.
