Ange Postecoglou may make a “huge statement” for Tottenham if they acquire a “next level” player.

Forwards rumored to be joining Spurs in the summer

The Spurs recruiting squad has not spent any time in identifying possible forward targets in advance of the next transfer window.

Paul O’Keefe of Barcelona is one player whose name has been suggested as one that Spurs are considering. According to other sources, Tottenham is reportedly prepared to offer up to £60 million for the Brazilian.

Despite Richarlison’s excellent play in recent months, it’s also thought that the Lilywhites are looking for a new number nine. Spurs have not yet completely replaced club-record goalscorer Harry Kane, who left for Bayern Munich in the summer. Ivan Toney, a striker for Brentford, is reportedly one of their top targets.

Remaining with players from the top division of England, Pedro Neto, a winger for Wolves, is reportedly on Tottenham’s want list as well. The 23-year-old has helped Wolves score 11 goals altogether and has already recorded an amazing nine assists this season. He is almost double figured in that category.

Spurs seem to be considering him for this summer, even though he may cost as much as £60 million.

According to writer Dean Jones, “Pedro Neto is somebody on their radar,” GiveMeSport.

“There has also been discussion of Raphinha. Nico Williams, who plays for Athletic Bilbao, is another player they will keep an eye on. It’s going to be fascinating. Because of the fierce rivalry to sign Pedro Neto, he will be very tough to obtain.

“But Tottenham have signed a couple of players recently, that they’ve done well to get through the door, and they will believe that anything is possible.”

Speaking to Football Insider last year, Gabriel Agbonlahor, another expert on talkSPORT, lauded Neto’s “blistering pace“.

Saka and Martinelli need to get enough support from Arsenal. Agbonlahor said, “Thoussard, Vieira, and Smith Rowe are all excellent players, but none has that lightning-fast speed.

“Neto demonstrated that. Despite having a difficult two years due to injuries, he is capable. If Arsenal could get him in, he would be ideal.
